A Little Bit About Me
I trim and rehabilitate all horses, all ages and breeds. From Drafts to Ponies!
I am a member of the PHCP (Progressive Hoof Care Practitioners) and got my education from professionals all over the world through countless consultations, courses, webinars, books, clinics, etc, and up to this day I continue learning, observing, and teaching others about the fundamental structures of the horses hooves and body.
The people that made a huge influence on how I trim and view horse care are Pete Ramey, Jaime Jackson, Alexey Berkov, Dr Robert Bowker, Dr Kerry Ridgeway, K.C. LaPierre, Daisy Bicking, Wendy Murdoch, Eleanor Kellon DVM, Ida Hammer, Alicia Harlov.
I look at the whole horse, not only the hooves and am always in search of the root of the problem, whether it’s diet, improper movement, improper trimming, lameness or other things.
Its More Than Just The Hoof
The hoof is an amazing structure​​, but most times what people are missing when trimming the hooves and accessing the horse is the whole body. The methods that I use focus on the whole horse, not just the hoof. This "whole horse approach" in my opinion is the proper path to successful Rehab.
